What you will do:
- Perform prescriptive data analysis that drives business decisions
- Design and monitor pricing, merchant, and inventory models and create strategies for inventory management
- Design and analyse hypothesis-based A/B experiments
- Establish and connect financial, product and operative KPIs to monitor and steer developments, as well as assess impact on the entire value chain
- Create compelling stories for data-based insights
- Work cross-functionally to ensure all projects are delivered on-time and within scope and budget
- You ask and tackle analytical questions with a view on driving product impact
- Provide analytical perspective to discussions
- Translate business needs to technical requirements and experimental design
What you should bring:
- The curiosity and methodologies of a researcher with academic experience in a quantitative research field
- You have 4+ years of professional experience in a team developing products that involve both hardware and software
- Hands-on experience with a broad range of statistical techniques such as time series analysis, bayesian statistics, and good old regressions, and the ability to identify the appropriate technique in different scenarios
- Critical thinking, problem solving, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
- Proficient in SQL, R and/or Python. We use Python.
- Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and organisational skills
- Data visualisation and presentation skills
- Fluent in business English
- 1-2 years experience in a similar role or hands on experience with analysis of business data would be a plus
