Location: Düsseldorf

Your responsibilities:

• Manages with maximum efficiency all finance matters (accounting, budgeting, cost center management, controlling, treasury, tax, risk management, internal control) and resources in line with budget, ensuring proper optimization of assets.
• Plans and develops financial functions and finance team to ensure that the function meets the needs of business development with budgetary planning and control.
• Has overall control and responsibility for all financial aspects of company strategy and is expected to analyse figures and implement recommendations based on these findings, with the most profitable outcomes.
• Contribute fully to the development of company strategy across all areas of the business, challenging assumptions and decision-making as appropriate and providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets and business drivers.
• Ensures finance support to operational management and supports the General Manager in monitoring business performance.
• Develop, implement, ensures compliance of all local process to corporate rules and policies.
• Work closely with the Corporate finance team in China to align financial planning and forecast activities with accounting operations and external reporting.

Your Profile:

• 15+ years’ European experience of finance management.
• BSc/BA in accounting, finance or relevant field
• Reliable and professional with broad knowledge to all accounting, financial, business principles, laws and best practice
• Experience with the finances of rapidly growing organization
• Extremely strong financial modelling, planning, forecasting and analysis skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish and maintain collaborative work relationships at all levels within the Company and with external business partners
• High degree of integrity to handle confidential assignments
• Be able to lead, coach and motivate a team of high performers
• Organized, detail oriented, and ability to multi-task
• Extraordinary teammate with a positive personality and a focus on business issues
• SAP skills are must have
• Experience in Retail or CE industry is a plus
• Bilingual language is required – German and English. Chinese is a plus
