Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve personal sales goals while meeting financial and non-financial business goals set by the company
- Ability to prepare, plan, and consistently follow up on new business initiatives for various clients
- Ability to accurately forecast weekly for assigned accounts through channels
- Maintain existing clients and develop new ones
- Understand existing products and services and keep knowledge up to date at all times. Committed to serving customers and instilling product concepts in them
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of telecommunications sales experience and familiarity with basic sales skills, ability to accurately anticipate and identify real business opportunities, ability to coordinate, communicate well with people, and listen to customer needs
- Have excellent business acumen and good presentation skills
- Preferably with cross-industry experience in the following industries: banking, finance, retail, high tech, manufacturing, professional services, etc.
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the carrier or telecom industry
- Ability to sell and communicate with FTSE 2000 multinational groups at director level. Or be able to sell and communicate proficiently in key market sectors as previously described
- Ability to sell managed data services, outsourcing services, data communications (e.g., Leased lines, MPLS VPN, IP, ICT, managed hosting services, etc.)
